Lunch & Learn presented by Mark Jackson
Monday, November 13 | 10:30 am – 1:30 pm | $39 includes lunch
New to planning service projects? Need fresh ideas for your next mission trip? Wondering how to make service experiences carry lasting meaning for your youth? This interactive Lunch and Learn conversation explores practical ways to move service experiences from one-time projects and short-term trips to transformative mission experiences with significant impact. A four-step service learning model will be introduced as a guide for successful planning, and practical ideas for choosing service projects and debriefing discussions will be shared. The conversation will also review criticisms of short-term youth missions and how to address these concerns in your planning. Come with an idea for a future service project or mission trip in mind – and leave with a ready-to-go blueprint to make it a meaningful experience for your youth.
